Vegan Ice Cream

This was in an email today. I wanted to save it for later.

Healthy Vegan Organifi Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 3 cups canned coconut milk
• 1 cup almond milk
• ⅔ cup palm sugar
• 3 tbsp. vanilla
• 1 tspn. pink salt
• 1 Bar dark chocolate (85% cacao)
• ¼ cup cacao powder
• 1 scoop of Organifi  (green drink)

Mix it all together and freeze as ice cream.

Homemade Ice Cream

This is Grandma Irvine's (Nelma Irvine) special homemade ice cream. She always served it at family gatherings.

Homemade Ice Cream

1 qt. fruit, mashed
2 cups sugar

Mix together and let stand at room temperature until sugar dissolves.

1- 15 oz. can evaporated milk
1 cup to 1 pint whipping cream (You decided on the thickness.)

Add milk and cream to the fruit mixture.

Pour into the ice cream maker container. Use regular milk to fill to the fill line on the container.

Freeze with ice and salt around the outside of the container, as per ice cream maker instructions.

Makes 4 quarts.
