We are wanting to make a quiche for Christmas morning.
Country Quiche
9" unbaked pie crust
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, chopped
4 eggs
2T. milk
2T. flour
1tsp. dried parsley
1/4tsp. thyme
salt and pepper to taste
1/4c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2c. shredded cheddar cheese
Cook and crumble bacon. Reserve 1T. bacon grease and saute onions. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, flour, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper. Add bacon, onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Mix well. Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350 degreese for 45 minutes or until light brown on top and firm in the middle. Serve warm. Serves 8.
