Another family favorite, Green Bean Casserole! We have it for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and lots of regular days each year. It's great with turkey or ham!

Green Bean Casserole

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of milk (more or less to desired consistency)
1 small can of french fried onions

In a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish, stir together ingredients, reserving 1/2 c. french fried onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with reserved french fried onions and bake 5 minutes longer. Makes 4 cups.

Thanksgiving Mushroom Celery Dressing

It's not really Thanksgiving, if we don't have this dressing. It is a recipe from Grandma Blossom, Elpha Berla Hoagland Blossom. It's a family tradition...at least, it is for me!

Our Favorite Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing

This recipe came from one of my favorite restaurants in Longview, WA...Henri's. It is no longer in business but its salad dressing lives on! I was given recipes when I worked there. (Or, maybe they were a close copy of the recipe. I can't imagine actually recieving the real ones.) Anyway, I love this version of bleu cheese salad dressing!

Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing

4.5 oz. bleu cheese, crumbled
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/4 t. pepper1/4 t. salt
1 t. onion powder
2 t. horseradish
1/2 t. minced garlic
2 T. vinegar OR lemon juice
2 T. milk

Mix all ingredients together and chill in the refrigerator. You may need a bit more milk to thin to best consistency. Makes about 2 cups.
