Mushroom Celery Dressing
1 c. butter
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 large onion, chopped
7 c. bread cubes (about 1 loaf of bread)
2 t. poultry seasoning
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 c. water or broth
Melt butter. Saute mushrooms, celery and onion until tender. Toss with bread cubes and seasonings. Makes 9 cups, enough to stuff a 10-12 lb. turkey or bake in a greased covered baking dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
