3 lbs pork roast
1 lb pinto beans
7 cups water
½ cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 T salt
2 T chili powder
1 T cumin
1 T oregano
4 oz chopped green chilies
Put all ingredients in pot. Cover and simmer five hours ( or until roast falls apart). Uncover and cook about ½ hour until the desired thickness.
Serve with corn chips, chopped tomatoes, avocado, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, grated cheese. We like ours over rice.
